Our Rich History and Affiliations

5 Star Fayetteville started off as Carolina Rebels. Carolina Rebels started 2011/12 with 5 players. These 5 players practiced until the Rebels get enough players to play in a tournament. After 3 months of practicing, the Rebels played their first 12U tournament. This group stayed together from 12U – 17U. In 2015, then Coach Bennett was approached by Andy Burress, owner of 5 Star, about making his team a 5 Star team. Andy liked the way the players played the game. As of Fall 2015, Carolina Rebels became known as 5 Star Fayetteville.
